WTD with a balanced weight-to-size ratio, can be launched at great distances even against the wind.
Swimming is very particular: if recovered slowly you get wide bulging on the hips like a WTD, while if you alternate fast recoveries it manages to sink under the surface of the water for a few meters and then make it resurface by giving strokes with the barrel towards the top.
Thanks to its swimming it manages to be irresistible to predators such as sea bass and black bass.
